Membership is open to all Quepos and Manuel Antonio Law Enforcement Personnel including OIJ (Investigative Police), Traffic Police, Police Department, Municipal Police, Fire Department, Immigration Officials and Coast Guard Officials.

The F.O.P. Quepos is a social club housed at the La Mansion Inn facilities in Manuel Antonio and seeks reciprocity with F.O.P. organizations outside of Costa Rica. The purpose of the club is for the various departments and individuals to socialize in an “off the-record” atmosphere and allow for a free exchange of ideas to better our community.

National and international F.O.P. Members are entitled to discounts at the La Mansion Inn facilities and enjoy special room rates and menu prices, facilities such as the Cave Bar and VIP Room, Lounge, restaurant at highly discounted rates. Until the start of the high season, members can even use the pool facilities.

The Fraternal Order of Police Quepos represents the individual officers in many different ways. Practically every major city in the U.S. has an F.O.P. post. Many posts consist of a small club house which offers a bar to its members and an eating facility where members can interact with their colleagues in an enjoyable atmosphere and at discount prices.

The different police departments in Quepos have many needs and lack equipment, personnel, proper facilities and work under very difficult circumstances.
